Freestanding Induction Oven/Hobs
How is everyone installing freestanding induction oven/hobs? Typical nominal load for these things is 34-40amp, 3000 says they need to be connected via an installation coupler as freestanding, but 40a socket/plugs are huge and expensive. Anyone figured out a good solution? Also wondering if it’s pos...

Joints in MEC
Having a debate with a coworker:
He says the MEC has to be continuous throughout its length ie, has to be fully replaced if it is cut; cant be jointed/repaired
I say thats an old electricians wives tale, MEC joints are fine
Can anyone clarify?
