Imported EV's
Hi All, Just wanting some advice regarding this IC-CPD I recently came across. This came supplied with the vehicle. It has a rating of 100v/200v, 12A. According to the guidelines this would not be acceptable as it's required to be labelled by the manufacturer as being compatible with a 230v 50Hz sup...

Re: Heat pump , max demand calc
Thanks Jamie,
No issue with the table, I'm more after what amperage to use from the heat pump specifications. Eg, A heat pump im looking at has both 'rated amps(17.5A)' and 'max amps(30A)' in their specs. Should we be basing the demand calcs on the 17.5 or 30A figure?

Heat pump , max demand calc
Hi All, With large heat pumps and ducted systems over 10a, just curious as to whether we should be using 'running current' or 'max current' when calculating max demand on an installation. I've always gone with max current/worst case scenario, but wondering if I should just be going on running curren...

Re: Max demand Table C1
Thanks Aleck, I thought that was how I read it, but it just didn't seem right to me, so started to doubt myself. I have looked at a few jobs lately where there is over 10kw of fixed space heaters getting installed, yet because each individual heater is less than 10A, they are calculated as just anot...

Max demand Table C1
Hi All, Just trying to get my head around the wording in Table C1, load group D, in regards to space heating and working out the MD for the entire installation. Load group B(i) is for socket outlets not exceeding 10A and permanently connected electrical equipment not exceeding 10A and not included i...
