Is there any rules about distances of Aerial mains from trees?
From what I can see 3000 only mentions "structures" and I don't think a tree is a structure.
And NZECP34 1.1.4 says the code does not apply to hazards from trees so that's as far as I got.
Any input much appreciated.

So why we are on the subject would I be correct in saying that for an EWOF rcd arrangement is not something that is a concern for appendix C or even part 1 if it were an import?
But not to get rcd arrangement confused with rcd type as rcd type is something that will need to be checked.

Yes I understand that even though an inspector may do all these roles technically after the inspection hanging the meter is song a role of a meter Tech and livening is the role of a livening agent or person connecting but was just giving input of how things are actually done.

I fully agree but I'm part of an established company and nothing will change.
Well I know the reason the inspection is only at this stage is because wait time for inspection and livening is months so the electrician did this to get power to house so people could move in.

Between the gas man and electrician they decided a removable cap over the electode was acceptable, however I don't see how this makes a difference as when you need to test it ...
