Connectable installations - only 90v-250v?

Just looking at the definitions in the Act and Regs

The scope of 3001 includes up to 1000v but does this mean in the eyes of NZ legislation that any three phase transportable structure isn't actually classed as a connectable installation? Or am I missing something?

And maybe that's what I was missing, the fact ESR59 dictates our options for compliance with Part 1 or 2 and even if complying with Part 2 doesn't meet Part 1 by default like 3000 says for Aus that it doesn't matter because ESRs only require compliance with Part 2

I was always under the impression that meeting part 2 of 3000 meant you automatically met part 1, but reading this clause is it only the case for Aus?

In NZ even if following part 2 do we still need to pay attention to the fundamental principles of part 1? Or am I misunderstanding?

Correct, for the very purpose of if it is swapped that there is an earth there ready regardless and I believe this is more aimed at homeowners who are unlikely to care or know what to do if an earth isn't there and probably install a fitting regardless

Doug I think it's the fact that's in clause 5.3.3.1.2 under PECs where as 5.3.3.2 for MECs doesn't have that as mentioned above

Although as I said i believe that logic was more intended for using Table 5.1 rather than strictly related to PECs

5.3.3.1.2 may be under protective earth conductors but I believe the information at the bottom of this clause is more relivant to using table 5.1 rather than strictly to PECs, I'd definitely apply this same logic to MECs despite not being mentioned in 5.3.3.2

Where does this means of isolation need to be located, I always thought it had to be on the roof in place of a RTI but I can't see anything that indicates this
