Design a favicon

Post by gregmcc »

DougP has suggested that we implement a favicon - you know the little symbol that comes up in your web browser next to the URL that symbolizes the web site.

Good idea Doug, now we just need some smart people to come up with a design, lots of smart people here, so people put your brains in to gear and design a logo.

looks like it needs to be ICO, PNG or GIF although animated GIF's, JPEG, APNG and SVG do have limited support for some browsers, so lets just stick to the ICO, PNG, GIF.

Resolution can be 16x16, 32x32, 48x48 or 64x64 colour depth can be 8,24 or 32 bit.

I'm not an expert, but I think it needs to be suitable to be usable mainly at these sizes to be used on multiple platforms.
16x16, 32x32, 48x48
