Lock dogs for Rotary CB's ?

Post by MikeNZ »

Hi Guys,
May I please ask what you guys are using to lock-out circuits that use the rotary type circuit-breakers.
The type that I'm asking about are the Siemens Sirius gear where they don't have a hole in the actuator to put a padlock through.
These are normally the lower current types (as in 6-20A) 3 phase.

Now I suppose you could disconnect the wiring in behind the dead-front, but surely, some-one must make lock-dogs for these things?

And no-one wants to go down the track of "cover it with red insulation tape", because the people I do work for are idiots
and you're one switch flick away from death.
That is not the way I would like to work anyway.

Do you guys know of a source of lock-dogs like this?, if so, I'd be really keen to get some, at least 3 of them.

Cheers,
Mike T.
