Technically is IEC Switchgear acceptable to use in NZ. For a standard installation and for CI

Imported switchgear IEC standards
Re: Imported switchgear IEC standards
All such devices are imported; nobody makes this stuff in NZ.
As to whether compliance with IEC Standards is acceptable; check Schedule 4 (Part 5) of ESRs.
However note that RCDs being installed under Wiring Rules are required to comply with one of the Standards cited in 2.6.2.2.
These are all AS/NZS Standards that are based closely on IEC Standards of same number, with some particular changes for Oz / NZ
Circuit protective devices are subject to ESRs 80, 83, & 84;
and in my view this applies not only to items sold / supplied as individual items, but also to items imported as part of a new / used CI.
This switchgear appears to be ex-UK, and I don't believe there is anything non-compliant it; except that it may not have been issued an Approval.
The RCD is marked as Type A.
However I would question whether the required current limitation is in place.
