Hi everybody,

Welcome to the group, Hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge than me will point me in the right direction on importing the old forum posts, but for now i'll kick this off.

future plans, for now I don't mind approving new users and playing moderator, as things get more busy I may ask for help and assign moderator rights to those that want.

If you already haven't read them, there are some FUG's (forum user guidelines), these were copied with permission from geekzone.co.nz. Please read these, basically keep it civil, don't swear.
If you have any suggestions etc, let me know.

Interisting , first MA said they were abandoning the old forum because of spam . Now they are saying the old forum had poor advice . And facebook will make sure advice is better because it will no longer be anonymous .

I think we just let them get on with what they are doing, I tried helping them out a while back with their forum but it was ignored. Time will if facebook is the way to go or a traditional forum is the way to go.

Hopefully all the knowledge returns and the 'library' gets filled back up again . There was alot to be learnt from browsing the old forum.

I believe this forum will flourish and continue to be a useful tool to all those in the industry!
I followed the old site for many years (even though i didn't contribute) what I got out of it (and passed on to others) was so satisfying, this site will be the same for sure!
Like all forums you get varying opinions, interpretations and knowledge levels, so sharing helps everybody develop.
If an unusual or inaccurate comment is made by a contributor don't come down on them or be little them, give them credit for asking and wanting to learn, as we all are and will never know it all.
