Post by gregmcc »

Suggest here for new forums, There is no guarantee that the new forum will actually be created, but it's a starting point.

Agree we need one for Hazardous Areas. But can we call it Hazardous Areas (as per Regulations) rather than Explosive Atmospheres (as par standards)?

Maybe we should have one for "Employment offered and Work Wanted" or similar. Or both?

Maybe under "off topic" ? Although it's probably very much "on topic" now that people will be going back to work or not.

I've created an Employment sub topic under Off Topic, I have also created a Buy/Sell/Wanted topic.

How about one to cover security systems.... many of us have no idea about the difference between analogue and ip cameras and when the ip cameras guys start poking new cables in beside ours, or telling us where to put sockets for 'switches' and 'rooters' then it's a foreign language.

I've added Security to the Data, Alarms, & TV Distributions.

We will see how it goes and if need be they can be separated out easily if one in particular gets busy
