Hypothetical..
If there was a main switchboard on a pole near the property boundary (configured correctly as a MSB), and the only outgoing circuit was a submain to a house, can the submain protective device also be the main switch?
In other words, there is only one 63A circuit breaker on the switchboard marked as "Main Switch" and that provides O/L and SC protection for the submain.
Or is there a requirement for them to be separate devices?

No requirement for separate devices, as long as there's only one outgoing circuit and appropriate labelling is in place indicating all functions.

Thanks. Yes I thought it was probably fine. Similar to a transportable switchboard with only one RCBO.
